Over the years, I have been to many massage therapists, but NO ONE compares with Leah at Metta. Leah is a gifted massage therapist with a sensitive understanding of my needs each time I see her. This intuitive ability to treat each patient, in her unique way, makes her an invaluable help in making every ache, every sore muscle respond and feel better and renewed. Her treatments, whether hot stones, or scented herbal oils--makes for a truly amazing, heavenly experience--total bliss!

Wow! The Metta Center is great! -- My wife and friends have been telling me for years the benefits of massage therapy. Being stubborn I listened politely and ignored the advice. Stress has finally caught up with me, so I decided to do something about it. I am so glad I did. Leah has created a perfect environment...serene and comfortable. After just one session, my stress levels have drastically been reduced! I will definitely be back, and it looks like my goal of becoming more balanced in 2012 will be a reality. My husband and I took a couples instruction session with Leah today and it was amazing. First and foremost, it felt wonderful. The massage was one the best I've had in the DC area. The class was structured so we could learn professional massage techniques and practice on our partners. Leah was highly professional, excellent at explaining and demonstrating the techniques, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Leah and the Metta Center.

Loved this! The Metta Center was calming, professional, and full of special little extras -- no detail was overlooked. The masseuse paid close attention to my cues, and made sure I left happy. I loved the decor in the room and hot towels on my feet, but most of all, I loved just how talented Leah is as a masseuse. I can't wait to go back.

I have been having massages, with different people in the past, but Metta Center's Leah, is by far THE best massge I have ever experienced. As a person that suffers with early morning headaches and a job that causes knots in upper body muscles, it is amazing how she was able to work out my knots. 5 days later, and I am SOOOO happy that all my migraines seem to have disappeared. She is thoughtful, and has a unique understanding of each individual and customized the massage just for me. She comes HIGHLY recommended by me! She is totally amazing!

Best massage I have had in Fairfax County. Overall very relaxing experience and the therapist was very personable. Their hours of operation are very accommodating for after work during the week. Highly recommended.

My mother and father both go to the Metta Center on a weekly basis and raved about Leah and Jenny so I decided to check it out. I've had great experiences each time I've gone there. The facility is very calming and quiet and is very nicely decorated to add to the ambiance. I felt very comfortable with both Therapists, they always ask questions to be sure that the pressure is acceptable and that my "problem" areas are targeted and addressed. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. The scheduling system is really convenient as is the location and parking situation and you get great incentives for referrals and such. Check them out, you'll be glad you did!

It's so rare to find massage therapists who combine healing with massage. Leah is one of those therapists. She listens to your needs and expertly relieves chronic areas of soreness and blocked energy flows. She combines techniques to truly address the root cause of muscle tightness and inflexibility. You feel simply wonderful after receiving a massage from this caring therapist.

The Metta Center is a true haven of relaxation, serenity, and comfort. I spend many hours hunched over a desk and staring at a computer, and Leah knows exactly how to melt away my aches and stress. She is an incredibly skilled therapist who makes me feel like a brand-new person every time I get a massage from her. The whole atmosphere of the Center - as well as Leah herself - will instantly make you feel at ease and will soothe your soul!

I am a professional massage therapist. I had a massage with Leah today at the Metta Center and looovved it. The place was beautiful with calming colors and music, wonderful smells, the usual stuff but isn't a corporate spa and so has a much more personal and at-home feel to it. Leah was super nice and comfortable to be with and gave an excellent massage, perfect firm pressure with an occasional nurturing, soothing touch. She spent lots of time working on the specific things I'd asked for. She also does thai massage, which I haven't tried yet. She has really reasonable rates. I'd definitely recommend it!
