All Levels Yoga
The perfect combination of flow and hatha yoga for anyone looking to begin their yoga journey or compliment an active lifestyle. Students will cultivate awareness and ease mental stress while improving strength, balance, and flexibility. Each practice includes a warm up, breathing techniques, affirmations, standing/seated/balance poses, deep stretches, and final relaxation. All levels are welcome.
Chair Yoga is a gentle class adapting yoga poses with a chair. This class cultivates awareness and deep relaxation through meditation, breath work, and gentle stretches all without the stress of getting up and down off the floor. The chair is used for seated postures and meditation and also for greater stability in standing and balance postures. You will experience the same benefits of other yoga classes, such as improved balance, strength, and mobility. You will also learn techniques to calm the mind and body that can be practiced anywhere. All levels and abilities are welcome.
Easing into Yoga
In this class you will learn the basics of yoga, with none of the pressure of a full-on 'flow' class. You will learn about safe movement in yoga, yoga breathing, form for the basic yoga poses and transitions, and a little about the philosophy of yoga. You will develop the strength, balance and flexibility necessary for flow yoga classes. You will be able to ask questions and seek clarifications from the teacher in real time; and the teacher will offer both verbal and physical adjustments to all students who want them. Overall, we want to create a fun, safe and approachable way for you to 'ease into yoga'
This class offers a gentle flow of movement synchronizing breath and postures to connect mind and body. Students will cultivate awareness and ease mental stress while improving strength, balance, and flexibility. This class is perfect for beginners looking to build a foundation or for people wanting a slow paced, gentle class. All levels are welcome.
Pre & Postnatal Yoga
This class is focused on cultivating presence, and deep relaxation through meditation, breathing, and gentle movement. We use gentle, restorative yoga and breathing exercises to strengthen body and mind and support you in finding comfort in your body during and after pregnancy. Spending time in postures with breath will help students center themselves, reduce stress, and allow themselves to just ‘be’. Part Yoga, part meditation, this class will support you in your pregnancy and after birth. All pregnant women & new mommies are welcome to join!
Restorative Yoga & Nidra
This 90-minute luxuriously relaxing practice is the ideal complement to today’s hectic lifestyle. In Restorative Yoga, you’ll use props such as bolsters and blankets to find the most supported position. This allows the body to relax so you can receive the benefits of the poses without any effort on your part. You’ll remain in the poses for 7-10+ minutes so you can unwind and enter a deep state of rest. The practice concludes with Yoga Nidra (or Yogic Sleep), a 25-minute guided meditation in Savasana (final relaxation). You will discover a new-found sense of peace and healing. Please dress warmly (long pants, long sleeve shirt, and socks) as your body temperature will decrease during this deeply relaxing practice.
Slow FLow Yoga
A gentle flow synchronizing breath and movement to connect mind and body. Students will cultivate a greater sense of awareness and a deeper understanding of yoga asanas (poses). Focusing on proper alignment, balance, and staying present helps alleviate mental and physical stress. Each practice includes breathing techniques, affirmations, standing/seated/balance poses, deep stretches, and final relaxation. All levels are welcome.
Stretch & De-stress Yoga
Stretch your body and destress your mind with this meditative practice. You’ll cultivate awareness and patience through the stillness of longer held poses and mindful breathing. All stretches are done down on the mat to promote relaxation. You’ll experience improved flexibility, less muscle tension, and a greater sense of ease and wellbeing. This Yin style of Yoga provides the perfect balance to more active styles of yoga or exercise you’re already doing. No skills or experience required.
Yoga and Meditation
This class cultivates presence, awareness and deep relaxation through meditation, breath work, and gentle stretches. Gentle, subtle movement is incorporated in to allow for integration into the body. This class is perfect for beginners looking to build a foundation or for people wanting a slow paced, meditative class. Spending time in postures with breath will help students center themselves, reduce stress, and allow themselves to just ‘be’. Open to beginners and seasoned yoga students.
