At the Metta Center we do understand that unforeseen situations arise in everyone's life. In our commitment to provide an outstanding massage and yoga experience for all our clients we have adopted the following polices. 

Arrival to the Office:

Please Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so as to allow ample time to fill out paperwork (new clients & retuning clients we have not seen in 2+ years). If you would like to fill out your forms beforehand, click here and download the forms that correlates with the service you are coming in for. All sessions have a specific start time and arriving early allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. 

Our Cancellation Policy:

We understand that things happen, and emergency situations come up that are unforeseeable, but please keep in mind our policy.

1. If you cancel any appointment before 4:00 PM the day prior to your appointment or yoga class, you are following our cancelation policy. Thank You!

2. If you cancel any appointment after 4:00 PM the day prior to your appointment or yoga class, you will be invoiced a late cancellation fee which is 50% of the value of the appointment, payable at the time of cancellation by credit card*.

3. If you do not show up for your appointment or yoga class and fail to contact us within 15 minutes of your session's start time to let us know of your situation, you will be charged the full amount of the session.

*If you would like to send a friend or family member to take your reserved appointment or spot in yoga class, the late cancellation and/or no-show fee will be waived.

For all cancellation requests please call 571-340-3293 or email Service@mettamassagecenter.com. Cancellation requests sent via text message will not be received, we don’t have a phone that can receive them.

Why is this our policy?

Please understand that our professional therapists and yoga teachers are independent contractors who get paid per service or class. Therefore, a missed appointment or attendee is lost income for them, and a missed opportunity to help another client who could have taken the time slot you reserved.

Canceling due to Illness:

If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms before your appointment, please contact us immediately. An office coordinator will assist you with rescheduling your appointment and may waive the late cancellation fee.

Inclement Weather Policy:

You will be contacted if we have to cancel your appointment due to inclement weather. In the case of cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice due to inclement weather, the cancellation fee will be waived. For updates on weather conditions, visit our facebook page. 

Privacy and Confidentiality:

Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Records are kept secure and safe. Clients are draped with a sheet at all times during the session. Only the parts of the body being worked on are exposed. Sessions are non-sexual therapeutic massages. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Massage Package
a package of 6 Massage sessions includes a 10% discount

• Our Massage Package may be used only by immediate family members in your household: i.e. partner, children, siblings, parents. 

• Applies to all massage modalities offered at The Metta Center (45 minutes or longer). There is an up-charge for add-ons, such as hot stones, herbal bundles, etc.

• Can be used with any of our metta center massage therapists.

• Cannot be used for shorter sessions. If you schedule a longer session, you will need to pay the difference.

• Does not expire, but we do ask that you try to use it within a year of your purchase date.

• Our Massage Package is non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other discounts.

20% off Referral discount

For each new massage client you refer, you will receive 20% off your next massage.

For each new yoga student that you refer you will receive 20% off on your yoga class or next class package purchase.

Make sure that when your referral comes in for their session or class, have them mention your name on their intake form and you will receive an email with details on how to redeem your discount. 

Birthday Gift

We like to celebrate you by offering you a 15% discount on a massage, yoga package and retail items.  If you sign up for our newsletter, and enter your birthday, you will receive a birthday email two weeks before your special day with directions on how to schedule your special birthday massage. If you receive our newsletters but aren't sure whether we have your birthday on file, send us an email with your birthday (year not required) so we can verify.
